St. Elizabeth of Hungary Dental Clinic – Tucson
The clinic helps the working poor by providing fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions and dentures. They are the source for dental care for the uninsured in Southern Arizona – 7000 dental visits last year. More than 50 volunteer dentists and dental hygienists keep the dental clinic open.
St. Joseph’s Mercy Care Dental Clinic –Greater Phoenix area
Volunteer dentists treated 4000 low-income individuals without dental insurance - 65% were children. Families qualify through a yearly screening within the business office. The Mercy Care Dental Center also provides care to the Osborn School District, the MOMobile and Children's Rehabilitative Services patients.
John C. Lincoln Children’s Dental Clinic – Greater Phoenix area
For more than 75 years, the children’s dental clinic has
provided quality, affordable dental care and education. Last
year, 949 children received dental care! Each child came
in 2 to 3 times, a total of 2400 visits, with 10,000 procedures
given. The dental clinic serves children without dental insurance
or AHCCCS ages 3 to 18. It also hosts a hands-on special
needs training for dental professionals.
St. Vincent de Paul Dental Clinic – Greater Phoenix area
The Dental Clinic provides basic oral health care to promote general health and eliminate pain and infection. Dr. Ken Snyder and dental volunteers serve low income adults plus children in school-based health centers and Head Start programs. Each year they provide over 6,000 visits, with approximately 55% of those being children.
Boys & Girls Club Dave Pratt Dental Clinic – Greater Phoenix area
Last year, the Dave Pratt Dental Clinic provided dental care to more than 810 children received dental care. The dental clinic targets uninsured children whether or not they are Boys and Girls Club members.
Catholic Charities -- Greater Phoenix area
Catholic Charities helps people find the courage and support to turn their lives around. A Head Start program is part of their efforts to protect and nurture children. The funding goes to dental education to at risk children and transportation to dental offices.
